McKinley Manor, listed on the National Register of Historic Places is a beautifully restored 1890s Queen Anne Victorian home, nestled in the heart of Rensselaer, Indiana, offers a relaxing and inviting experience.

The home is located a short walk away from historic downtown Rensselaer which features the stately 1895 Courthouse on the square surrounded by cobblestone streets.

Ren Art Walk is also located nearby, where one can admire the murals from many artists and take advantage of the many photo opportunities.

There are also many local restaurants, where one can find live music being played on a warm, summer evening.

A short drive leads you to Fair Oaks Farms, Purdue University, County Line Orchard, Indiana Dunes National Park, and more.

Features

First floor bathroom has a pedestal sink, toilet, and a walk-in shower.
Second floor bathroom has double copper sinks, clawfoot tub, toilet, and a walk-in shower.

Our Parlor has three antique Eastlake Victorian vanities and the original pier mirror along with chairs and stools to get hair and makeup done for your special day with your bridal party! This multi-purpose room can easily be converted to a 4th bedroom with an air mattress or a great playroom for the kids.

The Kitchen has a table & chairs, refrigerator, dishwasher, range/oven, microwave and all that you would need to prepare, cook, enjoy and clean up after a meal. There is also a Keurig coffee maker.

Contactless Self Check-in with a keypad on doors of both entrances.

There are outdoor Ring security cameras at each point of entry door facing outward to protect the property while vacant. There are no cameras inside the house.

Congratulations!
We know you’ve been dreaming of, and planning your wedding day for a very long time. McKinley Manor can be the perfect backdrop for you, and your bridal party to get primped and pampered. With this beautiful and glamorous setting, you can create memories that you will cherish forever. The parlor is outfitted with three beautiful antique mirrored Victorian vanities, as well as the parlor’s original and stunning large pier mirror. To help aid in comfortably getting hair and makeup done for the big day, there are lovely pink chairs and adjustable height stools. You and your bridal party can stay the night before the wedding to have early access in the morning to start getting ready. McKinley Manor can then be the perfect romantic setting for the newly married couple to stay for their wedding night.

Add-ons

We also know that in the busyness of getting ready, one can forget to eat something. So to help combat that and take one more thing off your plate to not have to worry or think about, we’re offering a breakfast package. We will provide a light breakfast of fresh fruit, pastries, muffins etc., orange juice and champagne for mimosa’s. Breakfast is served using antique china and glassware. No detail will be left unnoticed. Contact us for more details or questions on how we can help make your special day start off right with a little less stress.

Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation for 48 hours after booking, as long as guest cancels at least 14 days before check-in. After that, guests can cancel up to 7 days before check-in and get a 50% refund of nightly rate, and the cleaning fee.

SECURITY DEPOSIT TERMS The Security/Damage Deposit of $250 is required at the time of booking. The Security/Damage Deposit is NOT applied toward the rental; however it is fully refundable within (7) days of departure, provided the following Terms are met. If any of these terms are violated, it will result in forfeiture of the Security/Damage Deposit. a) NO damage is done to property or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear. b) NO contents of the home are lost, stolen, or damaged. c) NO smoking, candle burning, pets, or parties.
